I was suprised to learn that for a two-floor domestic chimney charges in London the costs range from £62 - £100 for a chimney sweep. Obviously, this is based on the fact that one is getting the job done professionally.
In the West Midlands prices start at £35 which average around £40.
So, if you are in the South then expect to pay more for your sweep this winter.
Just remember that a a real fire shows that you appreciate the home life; a fire cheers a place up.
